“Quality as a principle” is practiced at Airest every day, in all of our production steps:
Partner Selection
We work together solely with certified partners and also complete supplier audits on a regular basis. This ensures that we maintain a consistent high quality in raw produce and a productive cooperation with our partners, sometimes of many years standing.
Raw Produce
We check the appearance, freshness, faultless quality and the weight of the raw produce on its arrival and during storage – produce that does not pass this first quality inspection, is sent directly back to the sender. This is a matter of principle for us.
The Meals
When preparing our meals, we trust in the imaginative creativity and tasteful culinary art of our specialist staff. Therefore, all meals are tested by a quality team on a regular basis: we begin by checking the presentation because we know that “you eat with your eyes too!” We see ourselves as culinary artists and pay great attention to appetizing serving and appealing decoration. Then comes the taste test. What does the masterpiece taste like? Is the composition of the ingredients agreeable to the palate? Not too lightly nor too heavily seasoned? Is the pasta al dente and are the vegetables crisp? As soon as a smile passes the lips of the quality tester, then we know: we have done a good job!
And because we always want to lift our good standards a little higher, we actively implement CIP. CIP stands for continuous improvement process, and it is one of the cores of our business. Regular reports and meetings guarantee that we keep a close eye on everything, from complaints management through problem analysis all the way to process enhancement.
We can confirm our quality standards with an ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate from the TÜV technical inspection agency.
